A POWERTRAIN FOR EVERYONE

Choose from three distinct powertrain options, including two electrified variants, marking a significant milestone for Lexus. The lineup features a groundbreaking Lexus-first 3.5L V6 plug-in hybrid and a high-performance 2.4L turbocharged hybrid powertrain. The TX 350 AWD boasts a refined driving experience with its 2.4L turbocharged inline 4-engine, while the TX 500h exclusively offers a 2.4L turbocharged Parallel Hybrid system, elevating the experience for F SPORT Performance enthusiasts. Notably, the TX 550h+ DIRECT4 AWD plug-in hybrid introduces a powerful 3.5L V6 engine combined with DIRECT4 AWD, representing another pioneering achievement for Lexus.

DIRECT4, on self-charging hybrid and plug-in hybrid models, offers responsive all-wheel drive. It adjusts front-to-rear drive force distribution (ranging from 100:0 to 20:80) based on vehicle wheel speed, acceleration, and steering angle data. This enhances acceleration, handling, and reduces power consumption.

DESIGN – ENHANCED FOR AERODYNAMICS

The new TX prioritizes aerodynamics, improving efficiency and stability while introducing the innovative Lexus ‘Unified Spindle’ design. This design features connected headlights and a seamless spindle-shaped grille, enhancing aerodynamics and front-end sleekness for better handling.

The TX embraces the GA-K platform, known for its low center of gravity and ideal weight distribution. Notably, the TX has undergone enhancements to bolster body rigidity and reduce noise, vibration, and harshness. The outcome? An unprecedented combination of performance and comfort rarely found in a three-row SUV.

The wide grounded stance of the TX is also accented by 20-inch wheels for the Premium and Ultra Luxury Grades. For those who want a more powerful look, 22-inch wheels are standard for the TX Executive (350 and 550h+) grades. The TX F SPORT Performance grades are also equipped with standard 22-inch wheels.

Within the TX, the cockpit design prioritizes the driver and facilitates a profound connection with the vehicle. This connection is further enhanced by driver-centric features such as the optional head-up display (HUD) and the standard Lexus Interface, featuring a 14-inch Multimedia Touchscreen Display. LEXUS TX COMFORT

The tranquil TX interior offers an unparalleled experience. It remains remarkably quiet under various driving conditions, achieved through the use of high-dampening door and roof mastic seals, along with added silencer materials beneath the rear cargo and floor area to reduce rear seat noise and vibration.

The TX provides abundant cabin storage, including an optional center console for captain’s chairs, ideal for small items or digital devices, along with removable cupholders. When it comes to larger items, the TX offers generous cargo space, accommodating up to seven carry-on suitcases in the rear of the vehicle. This capacity expands to 57.4 cubic feet with the third row folded down and 97 cubic feet with both the second and third-row seats folded down.

Whether you’re in the front, second, or third row of the TX, comfort and convenience are always within reach. In the front seats, you’ll find a dual-opening console lid that lets both the driver and passenger independently open the left and right sides. The second row offers flexibility with options for captain’s chairs or a 60:40 split-folding bench, depending on the grade. Access to the third row is simplified with a slide assist walk-in mechanism.

LEXUS SAFETY SYSTEM+ 3.0

This advanced system encompasses a range of safety features, such as intersection support technology within the Pre-Collision System, and the ability to automatically decelerate the vehicle upon detecting pedestrians in its trajectory. By offering Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 as a standard feature, we provide the most extensive active safety system ever integrated into a Lexus vehicle.

Risk Avoidance Emergency Steer Assist—This system will help you avoid collisions in your lane of traffic by assisting with braking and steering as you make evasive maneuvers.
Left Turn Oncoming Vehicle Detection Braking—If you turn left in front of approaching traffic, this system will warn you and automatically apply the brakes.
Right & Left Turn Oncoming Pedestrian Detection & Braking—If you turn left or right in front of a pedestrian or cyclist, this system will warn you and automatically apply the brakes.
Oncoming Vehicle Detection—This feature augments the existing pre-collision system, warning you and automatically applying the brakes when a possible frontal collision is detected.
Adaptive Cruise Control with Curve Speed Management—Although adaptive cruise control is not new, this feature’s ability to maintain constant speed in corners is a new addition to this feature.
